This audit examined the Ministry of Health’s and the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security’s processes to plan for medical school seat expansion for family medicine and monitor that the additional seats announced between 2022 and 2024, as related to family medicine, are in the process of being implemented by 2028/29, as intended.
